Customs clearance and related services form a major part of our operation by linking our freight forwarding capabilities, thus enabling our clients to take advantage of our complete door-to-door service.

Our experienced professionals can ensure that for time sensitive goods that pre-clearance is electronically arranged allowing minimum delay in delivery time to your premises or destination.

Having a Corporate Customs Brokers licence we are able to facilitate Customs and Quarantine clearance for Airfreight, Oceanfreight, Courier and Parcel Post shipments at all ports throughout Australia.

Orbit Logistics has access to full Customs Compile and EDIFICE facilities, this enables direct entry lodgement and payment of entries electronically, allowing the quickest clearance times available.

Through E.F.T. - Electronic Funds Transfer we are in a position to arrange for the payment of duties and taxes directly to the ACS's bank account. This can be arranged directly from our accounts or directly from our clients' bank accounts, hence reducing invoicing and accounting costs and procedures.

Our facilities include an electronic data base (Tariff Listing) of all products for our clients, hence building an invaluable reference document.

As an extension of this system we can provide full Landed Cost reports, showing the AUD$ value of individual items in a shipment making allowance for duty, freight, clearance and other costs as well as foreign currency exchange.

Orbit Logistics conduct on-going internal Customs Audits to establish possible duty savings, ensuring correctness and compliance with the Customs regulations, but also to familiarize ourselves with our client's products, methods of operation and paperwork specific to their organization.
